You probably know this already but for anyone else that came looking for how to actually crop: You need to go to Event Pan/Crop then in the left bottom corner select Mask (under Position) and then click and drag your mouse on the screen to create a round shape (or whatever shape you chose on the left of the window) (only that shape selected will be shown on the video) (hold shift while dragging to make the the round shape an exact circle). Edit: If you want the edges to be blurry/fading or whatever (just not that visible) have some fun with the feather option in the panel on the left or below the area you selected.

I have 2 diferent aspect ratio videos from diferent sources, when I start a video composition and then want to put another one side by side, the smaller one doesn't move for all the canvas size. I do everything you say, call up Pan/Crop on Studio Platinum 13, I zoom in, zoom out and everything happens on the pan crop picture but not on my video picture. That is remaining static. Why?

I have a problem with Sony Vegas 14: the picture no longer moves if I select "maintain aspect ratio" and "stretch to fill frame" to no.
