Another super video, thank you! Such a clever idea to tape the paper to the top of the ruler. I have had paper underneath in the past and as you note, that paper can slowly become cut away little by little! Your points come together beautifully. I really enjoy your videos and learn a great deal.

I AM A beginner that is why i am asking i was under the impression that to have perfect matching it is important to press the fabric well before cutting but i have seen a few people cutting the wrinkled material

It looks like you pressed to the light (green to white) side which may make a fabric shadow. In this block is there a reason to press to the light or is this a personal choice. Love the paper pattern trick. No more fancy rulers I have used once. I have many. Thank you.
