We haven't tested applying to chenille. Thanks for the suggestion. However, the same tips in this video should work. Let us know if you test it.

Can you put HTV on hand made blankets made with chenille yarn or polyester yarn?

Polyester yarn, absolutely! For chenille yarn you'll have to take great care to not damage the fabric as it's heat sensitive and prone to stretching, distorting and shrinking.
