Then it must come down to what products are you selling? Buyers don’t like them or find them appealing? Have you asked family and friends their honest option? Thank you for this! I think I've been approaching Pinterest incorrectly, or incompletely. I've been pinning from my Etsy shop page, going to my Listings page and using the Share feature under each listing, choosing my board, pinning and leaving it at that. Not much has been happening traffic-wise. I don't think I've really understood Pinterest that well. Do you think I should edit my existing pins by going more in depth with the keywords or delete the pins and resubmit through Pinterest rather than through Etsy's process? It just seemed so easy to do it through Etsy because it just carried over my Etsy listing image rather than my having to make a pin from scratch. Also, when you pin other people's pins to your board, do they know, like do they get some kind of notification?

There are many ways to pin and the way you're doing it is also fine! The only thing I would ask is: are your Etsy images vertical? Pinterest likes vertical pins more. Also how often are you pinning? And are you sharing other pins that are attractive to your target audience as well? :)

Great tutorial! I was wondering about the Etsy link. Whenever I put the link in, it overwrites my pin description and title with whatever I have on Etsy. I spent time researching all of those things for Pinterest, and it just gets overwritten. It also looks very messy and unprofessional. Is there a way to correct this?

When I browse similar pins and added them to my page categories, they put them in my boards as if they were my products. Am I supposed to have similar items under my pen boards? That didn't seem right and seemed to distract people from my products. Aren't they just supposed to be on my page but not in my board?

I find I spend time writing an excellent pin description but then after it's been there a short time, it reverts to my Etsy description instead. I do POD business in multiple platforms all of them under the same email address and shop name except the redbubble store (different email and shop name). now will it be a good idea to put the links of all of those stores in my pinterest account under my address to show my audience that they can shop from different platforms and choose the one where they have their account? if yes can i include the redbubble store the one with the different email and shop name? what I'm afraid of is whether redbubble can see this as a suspicious account while it's not, it's my mom's and i manage it.

Hi Sandra not sure if you can help out here but when I add my etsy link to a pin I have made it pulls in the entire long etsy description as one long text, which means I cant add my own description. It looks as one long piece of text. I noticed when you did it, you were able to add your own description but still have a link to your etsy shop. Any ideas on how I can fix this?
