First of all, thank you so much for sharing. This is exactly I was looking for. I am new to QuickBooks and started learning. This is the first time I watched a video on this channel and loved it. You got a new subscriber 😊 Just wanted to check the process to handle below scenarios in QBO. Sorry, if you already shared below in any of your videos and I missed. 1. How to rectify the categorisation if done incorrectly 2. How to record deferred income and prepaid expenses (I know the accounting treatment, bot not sure if there is any functionality in QBO to handle this efficiently) Once again thank you so much for great video. Your guidance is really helpful.

Question, if I get the $15 plan but let’s say tax time rolls around and I need an accountant to go in and look at my books or if I need them to fix something can you do that with only having 1 user active? Or will I need the $30 plan to have someone checkout my books ?

I usually listen to videos on 1.5x speed, I was surprised because this one sounded completely normal instead of a little sped up, turns out it was indeed on 1.5x speed. Makes me wonder if he just speaks that slow, or slowed down the video for longer video length.

Hi Kevin. I'm about 1/2 way through the video I paused for a moment to ask this question. I'm New to the idea of book keeping. To clarify my understanding when you started you said for the most basic plan are you saying that I can manage multiple books with this plan but only 1 person using the plan?. I'm interested in the small one for now to learn basics. But for future I am planning for promotion. So for now I have to get a solid foundation then go from there. Thanks for considering my question ❓

The balance sheet lists all the current assets, including Inventory and A/R under the Current Assets. How to classify the bank accounts under separate types in the balance sheet (Cash and cash equivalents - or Bank)? Please advise

Thank you, Kevin. The video is great. The explanations are clear and easy to follow. In my case, I will be working with the accounting of a church. It's different because we don't sell anything but receive donations. Would you happen to have any suggestions for my type of business? Thank you.

Seems okay for a cash basis business but what accruals? How does QBO handle receivables?
@villian2.8 ай бұрын
You mean like other. Peoples biz
@KevinStratvert8 ай бұрын
QuickBooks Online supports both cash and accrual accounting methods. You can choose between them according to your business needs. If you want to use the accrual method, you can record income and expenses when you send the invoice or receive the bill. QuickBooks Online allows you to change your accounting method in the settings, and you can also customize individual reports to reflect the chosen accounting method.

Why would a company take a desktop version of a tool that works and turn it into a flaming pile of shit. Do other small businesses enjoy having to learn another password to log in to their accounting software?
@sirhch16 ай бұрын
... And what makes it worse is that they have stopped improving the desktop version but they keep increasing the price trying to force you to go online. They even reintroduce bugs that they had solved before. Just to make it more painful. I hate this company

@sirhch1 "you'll own nothing" (not even software) and be miserable paying a monthly fee for the duration of you business. We're being subscription-ed into a lower profit margin.

Unless you are a one person operation and the only one using QB, it is much better to have it online and accessible by whomever you give access to help you with your bookkeeping. Otherwise, trying to keep QB desktop in sync with different computers is a pain in the ass, not to mention a risk if your bookkeeper leaves on short notice without getting their database synced. I'm a small business and we used QB desktop for years but switched to online a couple of years ago. I would not go back to desktop. QBO isn't perfect, but it's acceptable.
