Glad I found this video. Take all root rot has hit North Texas lawns last year and getting worse. Too much rain. As soon as we get a few days of sun I will use the Disease Ex on my front lawn. Thanks for the info. Your grass looks like a carpet, so pretty.

You have to act fast on lawn disease because it'll spread very quickly

Bro! You ain’t no lawn amateur! You know you your stuff! Look at that lawn. Looks great! I picked up some of this disease ex as well getting some serious brown spots in central jersey also, but fingers crossed just laid it down after a mow. I bagged everything so no to spread any disease. Raked up all dead looking grass I could so the soil was exposed, put this down and watered it in. Keep up the good work and quality videos! 👍

Lol I appreciate the support. I try, I know the basics lol but yea you definitely have to get the lawn disease under control early before it causes major problems. Good luck you seem to have everything under control. 👍

1st - Nice lawn! Great color and thickness. Very lush! 2nd - great info on fungus - I overlooked it this year and am paying the price now. Your video is really good because it shows what the early onset looks like. Something I’ve missed the past few years. I like how you’re very particular about your lawn. I wish you were my neighbor. I’ve got weed fields on both sides of my lot. Keep up the informative vids...thx!

You may want to hit it with some Eagle 20ew also. It gives you a quick heal and the curative, plus you get the long term with the Disease Ex. Eagles kills things that Disease Ex can miss. Good job. Lawn looks great.

@@johnm3845 I dont think so but I've used it every month since and it hasn't browned since. Maybe it was killing off some disease I initially had. I've just kept it going every 30 days just in case because in Texas when it's this hot you have to water at night sometimes and that's when I get the disease to pop up

Hi, thank you for your info....I would like to know if your patches with NO grass just dirt is the the final result of your disease? I have large areas of total dirt no grass and it is spreading out. My lawn service doesn't know what it is. Thank you.
@LawnAmateur4 жыл бұрын
No my patches weren't from the lawn disease. I actually dug up those areas myself to replant grass seed I didn't like the way they were growing in. I would say if you had grass in those areas and then the patches are starting to spread to bare dirt then more than likely you have a lawn fungus because its killing your grass. You have to get a fungicide treatment down immediately to fight off the disease. Multiple applications may be needed in 2 week spans. I hope this helps
