May I ask what the difference between "cell blank" and "auto zero" is? when I measure absorbance do i need to autozero or press the cellblank button to subtract my blank from the samples?

Because currently i am doing my research and need to quantify simultaneously of isoniazid and pyridoxine for method validation(accuracy&intermediate precision) purpose. Thank you in advance.

If I use 0 ppm as standard, is the 0 ppm as blank?

Blank is usually the solvent you use to dissolve your sample.

So, If I use distilled water as solvent. So, the reference cell also use distilled water not the 0 ppm standard (distilled water+reagent)?. Cause I'm confused, actually my blank is the 0 ppm standard, but the 0 ppm standard has colour (yellow) in ammonia test phenate method. So, idk what should I use in reference cell
