I didn’t know what I was doing so I was using the same stock compression plugin on both tracks and also side chaining BOTH the kick and 808, sending both of them to a bus instead of sending the compression from the 808 to the bus, I didn’t set the bus to 0dB on the kick track and I didn’t set the prefader, could that be the reason my tracks are coming out a little more fluttered? I said bus too many times 😂
