A PNG you can print and cut, where as an SVG you can cut! 😊 PNGs cannot be cut like SVGs.

You can use SVG or PNG since you will be printing and not cutting. 😊 If you use a PNG file you have the advantage of being able to change the color of the pieces, where as PNG it's already the color it's going to print.

I will be sure to let our creative team know about your suggestion! ❤️ In the meantime, in Silhouette you can adjust your mat size to your needed size and from there you should be able to print the size you need! When you go to piece the two together you want to make sure the design is not overlapping at all or you will get a line through your design.

I’m pretty beginner fit silhouette studio but I’ve been using it for about a year or so now. Try importing the SVG file instead of the png file. SVG file will allow you to edit the words.

That is a great question! This will happen sometimes depending on the quality of the photo. If the image is made too big it will distort the image and may appear grainy and give you the "low resolution" sign. Hello! It will depend how often you will use it. You can convert an Epson EcoTank, however if you are not using it frequently you could run into the lines getting clogged. I would recommend going with a Sawgrass as they have a self cleaning feature! 😊

When you are printing, are you printing from Silhouette so that the registration marks are on the image? If you are, you can mirror your image before printing, then when the image goes to cut on the Silhouette the registration marks should show the machine to line up correctly. 😊

Hey Nancy! It shouldn't, I've used Scotch and Amazon brand with good results. Perhaps try lowering the heat a little when you adhere the laminate? It may be that you need to dry the wood out, you can bake it at a low temperature in your crafting oven. ---Becky

Hi Wondering if you can help. I cut a lot of vinyl decals for using to custom spray paint helmets etc and i use a silhouette studio 3 and DE Tape Flexible Surfaces Stencil Film but at the moment i use the settings blade depth 1 force 10 speed 5, but a lot of the text etc are very small and i keep finding it tears them up i keep trying different settings but can't find one that doesn't ruin the decal. i'm not sure what way to go with the settings depending on what is happening. hope this makes some sense?

Hey Scott! Sorry to hear of your cutting troubles. Unfortunately small text is always going to be a struggle. I haven't used that type of stencil material so I'm not much help, but I would start by slowing your speed down to 2 or 3, and make sure your blade is sharp. If the text is thin, you can use the offset tool to thicken it up a little. Hope this helps! ---Becky

Hey Bonnie! This is very common, unfortunately. I would recommend setting up 2" boxes in Silhouette Studio and filling them with various teal and mint colors, then print and press on a spare piece of polyester. It will take some testing, but you can tweak your teal colors until you have a good color code that works for you. Hope this helps! ---Becky

Hey Valerie! Unfortunately Silhouette Studio doesn't have the ability for color profiles, you can only print "normal". I haven't had any issues, but if you need to use color profiles, you can check out Affinity Designer or Photoshop. Hope this helps! ---Becky

I have been using silhouette studio for 7 yrs now - just starting with sublimation. It seems that my print border looks a lot smaller than yours or anyone else's. Mine looks like it comes in at least 1/4" all the way around which messes up my ability to print 20+ oz tumbler wraps. Any idea how to change that? I have tried printing borderless a time before but it actually changed the size of my print. Any help would be really appreciated! Thanks

Hey Teena! Usually this means that the image is low resolution (low quality), for example if you've grabbed some clipart from the internet. There are times when this won't be an issue for your printing, and you can ignore the warning (test print first before sending a bulk or large print). But sometimes it just means that you won't be able to use that design at the size you intended. Hope this helps! ---Becky

Hi, thanks for your comment. What type of font are you using? Some fonts only come as an outline, and then there might be a filled option available for the same font. If you are printing a font that is supposed to be filled, it might be the case that your printer has some issues. It could be related to that your Printhead needs a clean (see here: www.ldproducts.com/blog/how-to-clean-an-epson-printhead/) We would suggest to get in touch with Epson's support to check with them what is the best option.
