Stop advertising fraudulent VPN services! No matter what protocol I've chosen or what location is chosen on the VPN app, when I ask Google what my current local forecast weather forecast is, it still comes back as my real location, not the location chosen through the app. So obviously, the VPN service is not doing what it's supposed to do! If they are promoting their service falsely, it is considered fraud. Which is against the law and is a criminal act. Surfshark VPN does not seem to hide your current location or IP address. You can easily verify this by doing a Google search for your local weather forecast, and it will show that your location is NOT hidden. Regardless of the protocol or area you select on the VPN app, it doesn't hide anything. I believe it's a scam, so it should be reported to ScamAdviser.

My advice don't do it Don't allow them to warm their way into your account.. it's super buggy when you're traveling I've had a lot of issues with them and wouldn't recommend them..

Is anybody else dealing with SurfShark VPN customer support agents who are clueless about what they are doing and just keep requesting the same information over and over again? We are not clicking on any more of their provided links (probably virus-infested links) and sending that information to them. There also shouldn't be any reason why they need to know what operating system you use, what email address you used to sign up for the service, or what location you're in when trying to use the VPN. Giving them all that information totally defeats the purpose of paying for a VPN in the first place! Duh SurfShark really needs to fix the bugs with the service otherwise, there will be future complaints being filed with consumer reporting agencies in the Netherlands about the clear scam that SurfShark is pulling on their customers.
