How to use the Akai MPD26 in FL Studio

I always use Slicex to create MPC style chops. Load my sample/loop into Slicex, Set up all my slices, and try to keep it to a maximum of 16. Then right click within the slice, on the word "Marker #1", a dropdown appears. I hoover to "Trigger Note" and then hit Pad 1 on the MPD. The drop down disappears. Now if you hit Pad 1, the first slice will be triggered. Then right click on Marker #2, dropdown, "trigger note" hit Pad 2. Right click on Marker #3, dropdown, Trigger Note, Hit Pad 3, and so on, till I have done all 16.

Thanks, it's the 90s DnB Pad, under the X Nucleon section of the Sytrus VST. I"m pretty sure it comes with the FL Signature Bundle. ...but it may be sold separately as well.

Thanks man...very helpful. Is there also a way to map pads in order for the step sequencer channel? Example I have my omni settings at 1...but my sounds are not in order... I would have a sound on pad 14 and the next sound on pad 16

Link here: www.epsilon144.com/?req=misc&page=flstudio ...there are a few with the MPD, like changing the frequency of synths using the MPD knobs or automation. This creates a cool effect- It's like a note bend but not on the notes, instead it's on the frequency of the soundwaves. creates a warping sound and you can link it to the knobs on the MPD for easy recording into an FL Studio. The video for that is in the list through that link I gave, its called changing the frequency of a synth
