Does the bottom one slide up to accommodate shorter core strings?

When you want to move the piece up, you wouldn't want to put one cord on the one side of the peg and the rest on the other, would you? Wouldn't that leave a big gap in your piece when you resume knotting?

I have to agree with another comment a clipboard, masking tape for measurements a clip for tension, if you are making small friendship bracelets turn clipboard on it's side use an extra clip!

Hi I brought this tool from but I am missing that plastic form i have it for a while now when i got it my husband got very sick so i could not use it and now looking though my craft stuff i found it one question do you have videos that have project to do bracelet and how to finish them also can i use beads i am customer for beadaholique for many year i have brought many tool from you but as I said before could not use all of them because of taking care of my husband any way i like to thank you for all the ideas you are a great teacher many blessing for you and your family keep safe

We do have tutorials for a couple projects using the tying station, including one that shows a finishing technique we like. What a lot of faffing and unnecessary expense. A bulldog clip on a clip board or an empty picture frame would be so much faster.
