The problem is, is that some bogus music channels claim copyright fraudulently through this deeply flawed system and claim ownership on stuff like free-to-use intros etc. For instance: I see a match which is not really an infrigement so i take NO ACTION, but some abuse this, while knowing full well they don't own the content and make a claim anyway and you guys CALL THEM THE COPYRIGHT OWNER FFS! - THEY CLICK A MOUSE FRAUDULENTLY AS I HAVE EXPLAINED AND THEY THEN BECOME THE COPYRIGHT OWNERS? ARE YOU TAKING THE P**S OR WHAT?

Copyright match tools have many limitations. It does not find below 10% used video. Let me clear, Suppose you have a 1 minute video in your channel, now someone used your 1 minute video in his video and his video length is say 20 minutes, now match percentage will be {(1x100)÷20}= 5%. My point is when matching percentage is below 10% it is not showing in KZbin copyright match tool section. 🙏🙏🙏 Please clarify why it is like this.

One problem I have (or may not know how to solve) is that I cannot tell the tool to "ignore these matches". For instance, it finds all the same licenced content (many creators can license the same content) so it spams our copyright match results. It would be great if we could tell the algorithm to ignore certain matches.

I've twice been victim of bogus copyright claims by the MACHINE. I've gotten it reversed both times, but only after filing disputes and waiting for the "copyright holder" to release my own work. Even the vaguest touch of a human would have immediately seen through the bogus positive positive of Copyright Match Tool.

It's only powerful if you believe the match tool has a soul. Mis-matches are common when several people are using the same non-copyright material. When one person calls for a take down the battle begins when there was no battle at all some one loses.

No it shouldn't. Our world has a major issue with fraudulent copyright claims which tend to be handled badly by youtube. If this was available to all creators then it would be heavily exploited

@@DansTrailShreds This tool's technology is based around Content ID's, so it probably wouldn't make many slip-ups and trigger false positives. Plus, copyright strikes aren't abused much, and KZbin is responsive to counter notifications.

I love the tool. One suggestion: It would be good if there was a system-generated email or notification when a match is found. That way, Creators can act more quickly if there are any copyright violations.

Unless you make the punishment for misusing this tool matter like it says in the disclaimer, its highly abuseable. I have a tonne of copyright matches because I guess we played Elden Ring and Diablo II Median XL early. Literally pages worth of matches. Allow us to dismiss them and give the same amount of strikes and warnings to channels abusing the system please.

Okay but I have an old Friday Night Funkin video, and for some stupid reason every other video possible of people playing the mod (uploaded after I uploaded my own video) gets flagged as being my own video. So this tool has become absolutely useless because any legitimate copyright infringements on my channel will just be swept away among the literal hundreds of false flags. This could be easily fixed by adding a feature to toggle what videos of yours you want to be checked for reuploads, but when I brought this up as an issue I was basically told to deal with it. :/
