How to use the CUBE in anisotropic etching

i have been struggling to fully grasp this crystal orientation in etching for a couple of weeks now.. this video was so clear and makes much more sense when referencing that cube with the faces!

thanks for your video that its easy to understand. May i ask one more question that how can we determine the direction of etching for 110 wafer. there are some examples showing that the direction of 111 plane is perpendicular to direction of etching in vertical view, and hence the etching goes straight downward, which is different from the 100 wafer that a triangle shape is appeared.
