This has possibly already been said by now as it's 2023 but if you think of it as when you're trying to curl ribbon on a prezzie with the back edge of scissors pressing your thumb on top of the scissors with the ribbon in between your thumb and the scissors then pull the scissors along the length of ribbon while pressing your thumb down and you have curly ribbon 😊 Same principle?

I totally get what you mean! There's not much tension on the hair when doing this, it just feels like I'm moving a straightener over it, my brain cant compute how it does what it does!

If you want to curl away from the face can you turn it 90 deg the other direction? I curl away from my face, doesnt suit me the other way

By pulling tension on a bend when you reach the end it bounces back as a curl !!!!!!! Mystery solved!!!!!!! Awesome ❣

It’s only in selected “rush” salons according to the ghd website. Nearest stockist to me is a three hour drive away! The only thing that’s ever enabled my hair to keep a curl is the Dyson Airwrap which I love but would have picked one of these up just to try but I’m not doing a six hour round trip for one!

It’s an amazing product but if you already have the straighteners, there’s no bread to get this. Do exactly the same technique with the straighteners and it will do the same (coming from a stylist) xx
