I just got my air fryer lid last week and have already broiled ribs (made in the IP, of course), dried cilantro and basil, chicken nuggets, wonton strips for egg roll bowls and Apple chips!

You might find this tip helpful for manipulating the IP airfryer basket divider with holes: use 7 Inch stainless steel tweezers with curved serrated tips/multipurpose forceps for craft repairing. I believe they are easily available online and inexpensive.

I have an Instant Pot 3 Qt size unit and love it and gave my brother and sister-n-law a 6 Qt size container for Christmas and hope they have used their pot. I don't need the air fryer since I would not be using it much, if at all, but have been cooking barbeque pork ribs in mine and it does a great job and I have to put the ribs in the oven after the timer goes off and broil for about 5 minutes and they are perfect.

You answered my question... Can you put metal rack in and cook more food? Ex: okra n potatoes to increase capacity.

I have the instant pot duo crisp the air fryer lid came with it I got an 8 quart I love it to death it is my early birthday present from my husband I baked bread rolls from scratch and I cooked a veal roast with all of the trimmings

I poke a carving fork into the holes on the plate to take it out. Cools quickly, so you can replace it by hand.

@@callmelittled I don't know that would be a good idea from a food safety standpoint. Most nuts and bolts are not manufactured to be food safe. The temperature is very high in there and might emit toxic gases.

The Instant Pot website recommends to do dryer breading not wet batters. That said if it drips through you could start out with a piece of parchment paper under the air fryer basket then when it's time to turn your pieces over remove the basket and pull out that parchment paper. Hope that makes sense!

That was very informative. I was expecting that the air fried food would look more like traditionally fried food, specifically those potatoes. I have a question: did you use raw, fresh potatoes that you simply cut, or were those already processed and cut into wedges by a food processing company?
