Not only does the KitchenAid Pro Line Toaster share the classic style of KitchenAid's legendary mixers, it shares its peerless craftsmanship and attention to detail as well. A heavyweight die-cast frame and beautiful exterior finish hint at its premium level of performance and functionality, including motorized lifting and lowering of bread and "A Little Longer" button for a touch more browning.

Can we put sandwich rack/basket like kitchen aid proline 2 slice in Breville Die Cast Smart Toaster 4 Slice machine or can put two small bread like in your video in one slot by stuffing a little like sandwich?

I think this toaster is great. I do. It's the best toaster I have ever had and I've had quite a few over the years. I am surprised, though, that this video demo didn't show how to make a toasted sandwich.

Unfortunately not - that would be cool, but it's got this awesome thingy on the side that you push and the bread goes down instantly instead of having to wait two seconds (a pointless soon-to-fail motorized delay which these ladies find bizarrely exciting) If I want to check its progress, I er... just look inside instead of having to wait another two thrilling seconds for the bread to majestically ascend. And guess what? When it's finished, the white bread I put in earlier is now a golden brown colour and it's like, crunchy and shit! I piss myself every time it's so thrilling.

Wotsma Naym I may be dating myself, but the slow rising and slow descending feature, use to be on a certain high end brand 50 years ago and they lasted forever. Nostalgic

Tim Makara Ah, yes, but back then appliances lasted generations: watch?v=0BiAFTkkZKc (even more of a reason for them not to be excited about it) The process would've been totally mechanical, whereas this is probably electronic, and with plastic gears ;-) Nowadays it's difficult to find a toaster that actually toasts both sides of both slices evenly, let alone survives for decades whilst doing it....

You're absolutely right. They don't make things like they used to. Our KitchenAid stand mixer is a testament to the design and engineering of a countertop appliance that will stand the test of time. I would assume that their other products are also built to this high standard and quality. Just my two cents and just saying. Glass is half-full

Not way a $300 toaster. What has this world come to. Why would I puchase this toaster for $300 when I can purchase a high end toaster that does more than toast bread, really now.
@jaffaorange3809

Agreed. It used to be that one bought a toaster for a fairly reasonable price that lasted for years. In our case, for almost 50 years. If you look for a toaster today, as with so many goods and appliances, the middle segment seems to have vanished. One either opts for a cheap $20 toaster or this $300 marvel by KitchenAid. But where to find that fairly reasonably priced yet durable toaster these days?!

@@duaneafields I totally forgot about my comment above. Funny thing is, a few months later, we did bought a Dualit. Not a Classic though, but a Lite. Still a hefty price tag for a toaster, but it still works wonderfully well after 2 to 3 years. Hopefully it will for years to come.
