Really enjoying your Tech world series (both of them). Just a quick request... when you show us stuff, don't wiggle your mouse back and forth trying to point at stuff. It makes me dizzy as hell. Other wise, thank you for your detailed explanations of all your upgrades each episode. Love how the base and tech is different every time and you show it to us. Keep up the great work!

You're doing really good this second build. Tip: dig a hole under your Fragmentor and it will help you contain large quantities of resources, that won't roll away and will automatically load your pile. To defeat the acid soil, you have to raise your tech further from the ground, by using larger tires. Washing does help remove acid. Tip: Mine everything in your path and you can move faster, without the risk of hitting objects.

Tip 1: if pipelines sometimes dont work - try reload game. Tip 2: for easy exploring swamp biome do vehicle with only "long" gears (some green cabs in swamp biome drop this). Acid will dont destroy structures.

Hi man! - You can move all the same item types all together by pressin ctrl+m1 and moving the whole inverntory space from for example silo is alt+m1 (m1 = mouse left)

I'm not sure if you sorted this out already, I'm only 10 minutes into the video still. I wanted to mention, just in case for any reason you didn't notice; in order to complete the reserve power cell mission, you need to (among other valuable observations from your fan club) be sure that you're adding the power cell to a foundation that's ultimately directly connected to an AC Carbon Generator. If there were two platforms separated by space but connected by power pylons, it wouldn't count if you placed the reserve power cell on a platform that didn't have a carbon generator, or was connected to a carbon generator only by pylons (the "power lines"). Hopefully you're able to get this sorted out before the end of this video, but just in case anyone else is struggling with it completing, this condition could be something worth double checking. As someone who loves to get multiple perspectives on most things the could be labeled as "something that can have any of its process, parts or pieces go wrong" it's nice to know I'm not watching some ham-fisted attempt at doctoring up the internet to make the real world impossibly idyllic. Thanks for covering the update features and details and for sharing with us in a real, honest and relatable manner. Your efforts are much appreciated!

Yeah I tried. However someone Saud that I needed to rest the license from the settings and that will clear everything and make it work.

The camera gets hooked up on anything tall so I build my base in a line with everything on one side, it makes it easy to access too, just drive forward and back.

Yeah the camera movement is probably my biggest complaint about the game.

I've been having fun with this iteration. Like the changes to some of the sounds. There's still some of the base items have far to much gain on their idle sound effects but at least they quietened the recycler. One of my saves on live version I have an elaborate pipeline taking items out to a platform off in the distance with the recycler on it, 3 medium silos to get the 4 outputs to one for a return pipeline feeding the resources back to me just so I can run it and not have it rattling away in my ears 😂 Changes to wind, solar and how the batts work are nice too. FINALLY they're an option over the genies whining away all the time 🎉

It would be great if there could be a button to hide all the BIG detail-panels while you are moving base-items around. Things get pretty hard to see with all the data-panels hogging the screen.

I may steal your verticality idea but im not keen on how the ducting looks. I haven't tried it yet but I think you can transfer all of a type of item using either Ctrl or Alt. Im on SteamDeck so I have to remap the controls to try it. 46:28 thats the problem with building up in the air unless you put railings in

By going doing things out of order in the base building missions, you missed a few things that come later. I got a fusion core for free from a base building mission. When you crafted the carbon generator before completing the workbench missions you really delayed the base building missions. I see now it is asking you to craft the supply fabricator.

Yeah i didn't know that when starting a new game I needed to reset all the missions and licenses in the settings menu. I was wondering why I was not getting the mission but figured it was because it was on the beta test version. 🤷‍♂️

@@OZTRON every time you start a new game the mission start over. I was trying to say that when you was playing you did things out of order from the missions and that delayed the progress of the base building missions. and at the end of the base building missions you get a free fusion core to place next to your tech yard.

so what does the fusion core do as well as the small fusion reactor? it increases reactor capacity. dunno what the reactor does. "Reactor Capacity is a mechanic that limits how many Blocks can be placed" got it.

Yeah Fusion cores all you to install new modules that give more reactor power or repairs for now.

over all they need to rework the automation. its sucks. like i can just drop stuff in silo and it should pull stuff no matter the slot. i put it in. why i need to specify slots its wired. and some time when the stack maxed out techs stop outputing stuff.

Still don't think you have your extra repairs, or it would be 4/4. Each repair block on the tech looks to add one repair "slot" (You were 3/5 at one point). Might nee to see where the fusion core part (Yellow one) needs to be to give the Repair.
