I am using this, but not satisfied. Thermostat not calibrated properly. I have complained, IFB people checked their all ovens in their showroom, and confirmed that it is not preheating in time. Checked other brands too, they preheat properly. I would recommend you to go for LG or samsung. Yes you can use in microwave mode, but it should not have metal lining or any substances like metal, aluminium etc.. But better to use if mentioned microwave safe, or Oven safe. If microwave safe, you can use for microwave oven, if it is oven safe then you cannot use for microwave. If you have any doubts please let me know.

Hi..Ramya I bought IFB 30 frc2.. and tried baking cake three times with different timings and different temperatures.. but with all three tries , I could get undercooked cake at the bottom.. and overcooked at the top.. I couldn't get my mistake.. please help me for the perfect settings for the perfect cake in IFB 30frc2..

Heater is at top, if you place the pan directly in the turn table, bottom will not get the proper heat. So place the wire rack and keep the pan over that.. check the temperature using thermometer, because IFB is not heating properly.. pre heat manually for 15 minutes..

Convection is really work out or not mam... I have tried baking a cake more in convection.. once the time is reached it tooth pick is clearly come out from cake.. once let to cool.. it looks like not cook inside and lower side. I fed up a lot mam. And whether I need to place the bake tin over the wired track given by them or just place in a rotating glass. I have ifb 20sc2 20L.

Try to buy an oven thermometer, IFB is never accurate, it will beep in 3 minutes, but when you check the thermometer, heated only 20%. So buy a oven thermometer and check the temperature. Or else, preheat it for 10 to 15 minutes, Then place the cake batter.. You can keep the wire rack, while baking.. LG, and samsung, are accurate than the IFB.

Yes.. keep it untill it reaches desired temperature.. if you want preheat quickly, the increase the temperature to the maximum.. once it is reached 180, then turn off..
