cant see this at all as have nystagmus and visual distress. titally confused by where there is onky 1 groove or 2 by whuch no. i cant get prumahimo biards where i live. my anti letterbox means they would break the way postman rams mail throgh door. gave uop with internet buying as £100s damage to rare box set dvds. just seen yiu do book. is that available from bookstore or online only?

Are you the created of the Prumihimo disc, I had never heard of it before? What types of fibers work the best natural (cotton,etc.) or synthetics (nylon, rayon etc.). I find your video very informative. TFS

I have bought the Komi loom that is completely different but still octogonal ...you can tell me the difference to work with it?

The disk you have is exactly the same as the regular round disk and you can make the sam braids with it. My disk is not designed to replace your sort of disk, but it is a development. It simplifies a particular braid structure which allows you to position beads in straight rows.

Question. Your arrows go counterclockwise but your turns are clockwise. When I first saw the disc, I thought the arrows represented which way to turn. Does it matter which way I turn as long as I keep the same direction? Would it change the pattern. I'm just asking in case I turn the wrong way out of habit.

The important thing is to follow the numbers, so that you always braid from 1 to 4 in order. The arrow shows the way you follow the numbers, not the way you turn the disk. If you go 1 2 3 4 and back to 1 you won't go wrong.

Kathie Winecoff, they have different names, but are usually called gemstone fans. I get them from various U.K. suppliers, but you should be able to get them in the US.
