@theocbeautymd10 ай бұрын
theoretically yes. WTR is great for long term use especially for anti-aging. I don't really see a benefit of using the RNR long term. I would use it for pulse therapy if trying to treat superficial epidermal issues

Hello.hope you are doing well. I have bought RNR Zo because of some hyperpigmentations on my skin face but someone told me u are not qualified to use that! because ur skin is not ready for this strong retinol. It's been 4 months that I'm using Adapalene gel and my skin barrier is ok but I'm scared to use RNR! Would you please guide me about it?

Hi doc I've a question about my protocol, I am using this Zo Skin products dailt: exfoliating cleanser, balancer toner-vitamin c serum and firming serum and of course Spf in morning time. My question is if I need to changes my cleanser(to gentle cleanser) and I've I need to start with Retino 0.25% at the beginning?? I am 43 years old white male, oily skin with no significant wrinkles in forehead or crown eyes. Thanks
@daniel_140710 ай бұрын
I have a basic question that is indirectly related to the product and because I value your opinion and am a fan of the products of zio, I am asking this question that I have asked a doctor in the past. The aim is to stimulate cell renewal, the doctor I confronted with the subject of cell renewal explained to me at the time that it is genetically determined how often cells in the body can renew themselves. I see a problem with that. What do I do if I now artificially stimulate cell renewal with the products, but my skin stops doing this at some point because genetics no longer allow it? Do you also see this as a problem?
@theocbeautymd10 ай бұрын
This does not make sense to me. There may be variation between people in terms of how quickly the cells regenerate, but if stimulated they will regenerate. Think of a skin injury like a cut. The only time someone can cut themselves and the cut not heal is if they have a serious underlying condition. The skin will always heal and repair itself. This is why the comment doesn't make sense to me.

I have to think of a way to create a video like that. It's challenging because I do not recommend chemical sunscreens and think there are much better sunscreens out there. Let me see how I could put a video together.

What is your recommendation for nightly use of radical night repair? Or is using wrinkle and texture better to use nightly
@theocbeautymd10 ай бұрын
It depends on why you are using it. Yes you can use RNR nightly but I would not use it long term. WTR is a great long term option.

Can you get the same results if you are using 1% prescription Retin-A ?
@theocbeautymd10 ай бұрын
While results would be similar, the irritation would be much more severe. Retin A affects ALL layers of skin so it would create more dramatic changes but because it is so strong, I would never recommend using it so aggressively.
@danyellabrown533910 ай бұрын
Dr. Ania, how is this different from a peel using chemical exfoliation such as glycolic acid? And are the results different. Also what are the differences between this protocol and the skin restoration protocol that you did using retin a. I followed your journey with that. When would one choose one over the other? This is all so interesting happy new year 💕
@theocbeautymd10 ай бұрын
Happy New Year. I will explain more in my new video. I am so grateful for all of these questions because I know what to address. It is different from a glycolic peel because vitamin A does so much more than glycolic. In general skin restoration goes deeper and lasts longer. It truly restores. This is a short term peel, to enhance results but much less effective than a full 5 month restoration.
@danyellabrown533910 ай бұрын
Thank you for the quick explanation. Look forward to your next video addressing more in detail. About 12 years ago, my longtime dermatologist in an attempt to get my very resistant moderate acne under control had me use one percent adapalene, which was prescription at the time twice a day. which was against the norm that you’re told especially back then. I did it for six months and honestly that was probably the best that my skin ever was. Glad that he was willing to step outside the box and try something different to help my skin. He is retired now, but he was a wonderful dermatologist from the time I was 15 until 40. The subject is so interesting to me.

I used to use the obagi nu derm system and am wondering if you recommend doing this peel with the ZO Night Repair product as being superior to using the nu derm system over a long period? My concerns are melasma but also now skin texture. Also, is the 1% retinol in the ZO product the same as 0.1% tretinoin that I used to use with Nuderm? Thank you for this video.
