How To Use The Rane Seventy In Transport Mode With Serato DJ Pro

Thank you Logic! I’ve watched this tutorial multiple times and I’ve really gotten quite good at using the mixer as a stand alone in transport mode. But for the life of me I have not been able to figure out how to use the transport button in djay pro. What is the reason for that? Thank you for this video. I'm returning to DJing after a 9 yeaŕ hiatus and decided to get the rane seventy. With the intention of using it standalone until i can purchase some twelves.

I'm not sure. Some hardware allows you to disable the crossfader from the Serato settings. I've never tried to disable the crossfader on the Seventy before. There isn't a way to do this on the mixer itself but if you go into Serato settings and look at the mixer section, there may be the option to disable it. It just depends on which hardware is connected at the time.

on the new seventy two with center screen can you plug a usb drive into the deck 1 or two usb slots and skip using a computer for serato?

No you have to have the laptop connected to use Serato.
