That might be the dumbest explanation of a tool I've ever seen. Things worthless as far as your explanation goes. You're literally just saying if the knife cuts through tape "it's sharp"

The test states that, whenever any object penetrates through the tape, it will be deemed as a sharp edge. If you read the UL 1439 standard you will understand it better
