How to use the Smoke Ninja

After waiting 3 months for my smoke Ninja, I received it, but the device only works partially. Steam works quite well, but Fog and Dryice only work for 3 seconds and then it turns off. I am doing something wrong or is it the device, is it under warranty? Greetings

I bought one of these at the Photograhpy and Video Show at the NEC in Birmingham a few days ago. I'll be using it this week for a Crepe video advert :) I hope it will add some interest to what is quite a flat food :D

The instructions say not to use it beyond a 90 degree angle but you were using it totally upside down (you're meant to use the curved pipe attachment to angle to smoke down if you need to). Did you notice an issues with this or danger operating this way? Also, how many times did you need to charge it during the production of this video? AND after usage how long does it take to cool down before you can take the chamber off and store it in the airtight container? (Sorry for all the questions - these aren't things covered in the instructions).

Photographers don't always follow the rules😅 I didn't have any issues with using it this way because it was only for a few minutes, but I'd say follow the instructions. One charge got us through this shoot. I didn't have the smoke machine running for more than 2 minutes at a time so I didn't use up the battery too much. I'm still to test it for a much longer shoot. I packed it away after 15 minutes, but it didn't heat up much because it wasn't running for an extended period as I mentioned. We love questions - hope the answers suffice!! Look out for a short video on how to refill your smoke ninja!

How loud is the machine please?

It's quieter than a regular smoke machine - about as loud as a vape of a similar size.
