Having extensively used the su39, being basically an export su25 but better, I can say that the conventional rockets are best if flying low angle quick pop up attacks for ground targets while I prefer the laser guided missiles for high angle long range hits.

Bank angle is useful at higher altitudes, where you can't really make out if the earth is below or above you. Personally found it more useful when flying/diving through clouds Rather informative video tho, very nice!

I had an issue using the S-25O rockets. As soon as I launched them, the exploded and about blew my jet apart. I was going around 525 Km/H at about -35 degrees.

How to use Su-25: Go to ground RB, choose the big rockets. Fly low, spam rockets, get lucky that SPAA is unaware, and RTB to rearm and repeat.

Actuaaly 4:25 that statement is wrong, its the third 1. Mig-27 Burst mass 32.36 kg 2. A-10 Burst mass 28.28 3. Su-25 19.42

Its about precision. Conventional bombs requires more explosive because they cannot ensure a direct hit so, they rely on a bigger explosion. But if you bring a guided rocket/bomb that falls directly on your target, a larger explosions is no longer be necessary. That's why mavericks for example, have a very small amount of explosive compared to other conventional bombs. Now, you could a bring larger guided weapon like a Paveway or a Walleye, but they will make your plane heavier.

That's how it works in realistic battles, but I think it depends on the plane as well.

Hello! The SU-25bm is better, it can use R73 and TV guided weapons. The only downside is the BR increase, although the SU25 is meant to be used in ground battles, and there's currently no other anti air vehicle comparable to the Pantsir, so, you'll do great with it... but if you take it into an air battle, then you might do better with an SU-25K since it won't face stuff like F-16's, and the is premium which is very helpful. I hope this helps you to pick the one that will benefit the most. :)

hey! I believe the correct names are s25o, s25L and kh25mL Perhaps, your best bet could be the kh25mL, because its the fastest with the best penetration among those 3. I assume you are using the SU39 or an SU25 from rank VII or VIII , so you might have access to the 9k127 Vkhr, which has 10 times better penetration, but requires more babysitting.

I agree. the details about making sure the ballistic computer is on and bound are what I'm looking for when I search videos like this but I always end up watching a bunch of videos where the person is like just point and click and then they do a show case of them pulling off insane kills. They never explain HOW to point and click. War thunders settings are very complicated when you start dealing with modern vehicles.

It depends on your plane, specially if it can drop individual bombs or if it drops them on pairs. I suggest you to create a private custom game against AI, and figure that out with the plane that you want to use.

....Gun strafing is undesirable? The main gun cuts through just about any tank from all angles. It's one of the strongest weapons you have against ground targets... Yes it should be the final mop up tool but it's incredibly versatile.

I agree that the SU25 main gun is very powerful and I've heard that is even better than the one inside the A-10... however, my highest air kills on a SPAA are from vehicles of the same BR as the SU-25, and its all because they want to get close to attack... that's why I hardly recommend strafing. You can do it, but its not a safe approach.
