We have recently purchased a couple of rubber rafts and plan to do alot of rafting on our multiple rivers in our area this coming summer. I had thought about how we could protect some of our stuff from getting wet if we dump or the such like. This might be an option.

A vacuum sealer looks like a lot of fun, I don't know why, maybe it's the way you can organize and optimize your food and other backpacking items. It's such a weird thing to get excited over 🤣 Same with food dehydrators - wow, now you can make your own MRE's instead of just-bying-it. It doesn't save you time or money but you still wanna do it. Years of backpacking does something to you 😀 I hope you "recover", Marty, the unit looks great! I have this dream about going backpacking in the extreme cold, like -35, but everything below -20 seems to get exponentially colder somehow. I think my contact lenses would freeze into tiny ice cubes in its container - I should test the freezing point of contact lens solution 😀

That’s a nice sealer! Mine doesn’t have that pulse function which would come in handy for sure!
