​@@steveaguilar9833 depends what you call a long break, zenistar was meta back when range mods were in %, so before November 2019. The duration of the disc was changed as well and you can even get banned if you play the zenistar "too much" because it can be considered "afk gameplay". Rn the disc just sucks if you don't have a Range riven and you really have to push this weapon to get good enough damage on the fire aura.

When the Zenistar was first introduced into the game it was a beast of a weapon with its unique hevy attack that could win you infested defense missions by itself. I personally find it weird that it wasnt reverted to its old self yet, considering riven mods exist, incarnons exist , kuva weapons exist. With the level of power creep today it wouldnt even be halfway on the power list.

@@ddhVapor Well yeah I was a Zenistar enjoyer a few years ago, but after the range mods changed from % to flat range the zenistar kinda fell off. Today the zenistar disc sits in the top 5 of the lowest melee dmg, and it still doesn't get dmg from condition overload and killing blow, poor guy... For Chroma, I am a Chroma player, he is my second most used frame after Wisp, but almost all Warframe content creators say Chroma is D tier, so I'm just clowning on them.

Violet archon shards arent Dynamic, in other words, the bonus will be applied at the start of the mission and will never change till the end of the mission, it doesnt matter if u get the energy cap 500+, the duplicate bonus will not be applied, u have to be at 500 energy at the start of the mission to make Violets get the double effect

Kullervo with the traveling wrath of Ukko augment and the tennokai where blocking builds combo and you can lockdown any chokepoint or defense target on the map. It’s my favorite zenistar build so far.

zenistar and chroma? any weapon is good with chroma. vauban or ivara + zenistar is extremely good. with vauban its extremely easy to get the combo multi up with a vortex. wich is incidently also the best place to place the AoE from zenistar. and ivara with navigator + zenistar is SP ready. arbi defence? take ivara and zenistar. you can make the cephalon target and yourself invisible, bring up the melee combo multi a little, activate navigator (+16x damage buff easily doable) and use a heavy attack: boom, you got a damaging AoE that you can navigate. if you like the spot: end navigator and the AoE will stay there for the duration. as long as you keep your energy in check (navigator will drain over time) you can go lvlcap solo. also: zenistar with the dynasty skin has unlimited meme potential

I use my Zenistar with an Electro-Boom combo using Melee Influence, Elementalist and whatever feels decent enough

zenistar was the best weapon for a long time. then they connected the duration to melee combo and people got salty (for good reason) but its still one of the best weapons. i have to try it out with citrine now but where i like it best: vauban and ivara. vauban vortex gathers all enemys in 1 spot, easy to get the combo multi. and close to the vortex is where you want the AoE. Ivara navigator lets you navigate a projectile with an immense damage buff. and it works on the zenistar disc. you have to see it to believe it. its a weapon of mass destruction. and the dynasty skin makes it look like you are playing monster hunter.

the disc is in the top 5 worst dmg melees, + it's static, doesn't benefit from Condition Overload or Killing blow despite being an heavy attack with very high status, needs ton of range. Fortunately we have melee arcanes like melee vortex now to make it better ! But tbh, in the end it was all just an excuse to make a video on Chroma with 800% strength
