Excellent - I will watch this again. I watched Michele's training and I was told to start a business acct. I still to this day (2.5 months later) can not go live. I have over 1200 followers too! I have not had great luck with tiktok yet (although I do get 500 to 700 views usually. But something has got to change. I am going to switch to a regular acct. NOW!

Thanks so much for all these great Videos Wendy. If I change my name, username and bio after realizing that mine is not ideal does that negatively impact my algorithm? I’ve been with DGC and on TikTok for 6 weeks. Thanks

As long as your channel was created and started with videos, talking about earning an income online, then you should be fine just changing your name and your bio

Wendy- thanks SO MUCH for this! Started Legacy Builders in July and was really confused with the available TT training. I KNOW I'm in an echo chamber of digital marketing people! God's been leading me every step (when i surrender and pay attention 😊) & last week very directly felt like i need to start a new channel and let it grow organically. Here's my question: do I go out and follow some of my "perfect customer" type people or just interact with videos from GenXers, women over 50, and digital Marketing people. I'm also interested in helping Christians get their finances in order. I just haven't found any clear mentoring about WHO I should follow to train the algorithm. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated!

The thing you wanna do is make sure on your new channel that you are only following people who are either doing digital marketing or fellow Christian related content as that seems to be your target market. You will train the algorithm by what your message is and your consistency of showing up with that same message and making sure you get categorized You will see more on how to do that in the up-and-coming videos as you go through the training We love helping fellow Christians to break free from the bondage of debt and we’ve done that numerous times by teaching classes in our church That’s exciting that you’re on this journey and nice to meet. Meet a fellow Christian.

@@yestodailypay Follow up question, and I apologize straight up for pestering you😁. I'm sure I'm overthinking this, and that's normal for me, but my experience with my first channel has me spooked and trying to be very intentional. Would I be narrowing my niche too much if I focus on digital marketing, Christian, women over 50? I recognize I might be splitting hairs. Again, just a little spooked. (That's it, I'm done😊)

Yes - and keep in mind you are building this channel while still having your current one. but follow other christians and women over 50 - to teach TikTok who you are targeting

I currently just have my website link, but if you were offering more than one thing on your platform, then you need either a link tree or I love the look of Beacon a lot more - plus it can work like stan store without the cost

Yes you can switch back and forth between personal and business accounts

Sometimes you need to uninstall and reinstall your TikTok again then your link option will be there

How can you tell what kind of account you have currently? I am unable to find anything about a creator account??

If you go to your home screen, the very top right you’ll see three little lines Click on that Then you will see settings & privacy- click on that Then you should see which type of an account you have whether it’s personal or business

So I just Googled and it says Creator and Personal Account same thing. You have a different version of TikTok than I do, if yours is personal/creator - but I guess that happens (as with other platforms) Thanks for answering so quickly above -

How can you say its free to start (affiliate marketing) in your videos on tik tok when the course is not free. I am just curious before I say that in mine.

I was an affiliate marketing and the course I used was free to start. It was called the Rapid Profit Machine, but there were monthly expenses. I have since over the last seven months moved over to digital marketing where I pay a one time fee to start the course with no monthly expenses. With affiliate marketing you make a certain percent like 25% with a resale rights I now make 100% so I’ve made a lot more money doing the digital marketing that I ever did with affiliate marketing. And I have said that since then I have changed if you watch the video show that I am now doing a different system.
