In this mini tutorial, I will show you how to incorporate transparent 3D objects into an augmented reality scene using Blender and Adobe Aero.
STEPS :
1. First create an PNG file that is partly transparent.
2. In Blender, create a new material.
3. Click on Base Color, Add an Image texture and select the PNG.
4. Open the Shading tab.
5. Hit "Shift" and "A".
6. Add a Transparent BSDF.
7. Add a Mix Shader.
8. Drop it between the Principled BDSF and the Material Output.
9. Connect the Transparent BSDF to the Mix Shader and the alpha of the PNG to the FAC of the Mix Shader.
10. On the material tab, change the Blend mode to alpha blend.
11. Import the object to Adobe Aero and you’re done.
