Yes, giving it enough pressure is the hardest part.

Does sliding the heat press around on the transfer cause any adverse effects like ghosting? How much pressure is needed for the dtf to fully adhere to the shirt so that it’ll last many washes? Thanks!

We've not had issues with ghosting but we don't suggest moving it around while pressing the hardest. We wish there was a way to quantify the pressure but you'll definitely want to put some weight behind it!

I am trying to get into DTF printing my art on clothes, but all the information out there and the various ways of doing things is pretty overwhelming 😅 I don’t think my apartment electrical can handle most heat presses since they seem to be around 1200+watts so I’m hoping this will work!

I used a cricut easy press to press dtf transfers but started getting bubbles under the film over the print. The film crinkled a few times ruining my transfer and my garment. I thought it was my distributor but I’ve used two different ones with the same issue. Could it be the easy press and have you ever seen this?

That sounds more like the transfers weren't cured properly or there was excess moisture when it was printed. And yes that can happen from two different distributors.

Maybe a silly questions but............is there a way to tell if the transfer is hot peel or cold peel without asking the seller?

no...assume it's cold peel. Hot will generally peel cold, cold will never peel hot. I hope that makes sense.
