How to use your Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool™ purifying fan heater

How to set up, use, register and get the most out of your new Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool™ purifying fan heater.
Use the Dyson Link app to control, schedule, monitor and customise your purifying fan heater.

Step 1. Unpack your Dyson purifying fan heater and remove all the components from the box.
Step 2. Before you turn on the machine for the first time, it's important to add the HEPA+carbon filters.
Step 3. First, press down the side buttons to release the machine's outer covers.
Step 4. Place both of the filters in position then reattach the outer covers.
The serial number is on the bottom of the machine.
Step 5. Use it to activate your guarantee through the Dyson Link app, or on the Dyson website.¹
¹Requires device to run app, Wi-Fi or mobile data, Bluetooth 4.0 support, and iOS version 10 or Android version 5 (or above). Standard data and messaging rates may apply.
Step 6. Place your purifying fan heater on a stable, flat surface, in an area where you will get the most benefit from the airflow and plug it in.
Step 7. Turn on your machine using either the button on the front or the remote control.
Step 8. Select Auto mode using the remote control.
Your machine will assess air quality and temperature and begin purifying and heating, if needed. The remote control attaches magnetically, so you always know where it is.

Are you able to be specific about which air features you'd like to shut off? As a purifier fan, this machine will always be drawing in, purifying and projecting airflow while it's running.
