THANK YOU!!! One of these is installed in my apartment. It's hot outside here and it was still on heat. Apparently...we don't have air conditioning but I was able to exit the heat without having to call maintenance.

Does this thermostat go above 78° because my house is still cool when I have it locked at 78 once it cut off it instantly cools back down I stay right off the lake of lake Erie I can look off my balcony and see the lake therefore the wind is blowing extra hard around this time and it's making the inside of my home cold with this new thermostat I can't get it to go above 78 My old one will go all the way to 90 is there a fix

I have this thermostat in my home. Please tell me...what is the temperature variance between the set temperature and the temperature that kicks the system on, and turns the fan off? Example, if the heat is on and the temperature is set at 76 degrees, exactly what temp will turn the fan on, and what temp will turn the fan off? Thank you!

I just had one of these nightmares installed yesterday. it was reading 75 degrees right out of the box, which came from the truck outside. it was actually about 65 degrees in here at the time. it now reads 83 when it is in fact about ten degrees cooler. what the hell is up with this pos. I was better off with the old mercury switch thermostat. this thing is just a piece of shit. what a joke this so called technology is. just plain garbage

For those who want a simple thermostat (just -/+, no programming) here is what you do: Hold the "Menu" and "+" buttons together for about 5 seconds. A hidden menu will appear called "ISU". "Select" and "Back" control the top number, -/+ control the bottom number. You want to set it so that it reads 120 over 0. Press "Home" to save. Your T4 is now the simple version. You can select Cool/Heat, Fan On/Off, and -/+ only. No programming. To set it back, follow the steps to get to the ISU menu, and set it to 120 over 2, and you'll have a programmable thermostat again.

I hate this thing. I don't feel that the "auto" feature is truly auto. Mine never turns off unless I manually turn it off. Once it gets to the desired temperature, it starts blowing cold air instead of just turning off. The customer service number & my HVAC guy have been useless. Did I say that I hate this thing????😫😫😫

That's probably not your thermostat. It sounds like your AC unit may be frozen.

Just moved into a new home. I have this thermostat. The unit is new. It doesn't go below 79. Its doesn't get cold at all. And the fan won't turn the hell off. I'm going to reset it and see what it does. If that doesn't work. I have a year warranty on anything on the house. So I'll either have them get a different thermostat or fix it. I don't like it.

It means you have an alert. Pressing menu will take you to your alerts so you can see what it is
