Congratulations on being a teacher however you can make your life a lotttttt easier by using sidecar which is a special feature to use your iPad as a secondary display when using macs and iPad together. You’ll be able to do everything you just did and more with less set up steps

Question: how do you have zoom showing video on both your iPad and Mac before you start sharing your screen? We’re you logged into the zoom app on the Mac and signed into the zoom app on iPad at the same time?

Hmmm another option is to simply stop sharing screen on laptop, and share the screen from iPad. Then use the iPad pencil and stuff to make notes on screen. Seems easier no?

Great Video! I have had a lot of difficulty hosting meetings and sharing from my Macbook Pro. I find it's so much easier to just use my Windows machine. I would love to use only my Mac but it just isn't as easy or practical. Windows has MacOS beat by a lot when it comes to this issue. You gave me a lot of good pointers though and I may have to give it another try.

Using Zoom with just an iPhone by itself really sucks. You can only use the chat feature or watch videos one at a time. You can also only view 4 videos at once. Pairing the iPhone with an iPad seems to increase functionality of Zoom by a lot.
