so how do you change the set screw tj?
@cofkotube Жыл бұрын
How do you change the short screw with the long one? It's not in the manual and you magically have the long one in the video. What's the magic?
@cofkotube Жыл бұрын
Figured it out, you need to wrap a cloth or something soft around the screw to not damage it, then grab that with pliers and unscrew it. It's not at all intuitive, I first tried to press at the rotating back very hard to unscrew the whole head, I might have damaged the delicate bearings with that as the thing stops abruptly at certain times. Guys are you doing this on purpose to not add those instruction or what's wrong with you?

So you cover everything except how to change out from short to long set pin.......How do you do that? When I try the whole internal assembly spins.

After Ballance and you clean the tires after a race how well does the clay stick?
@tjeller93457 жыл бұрын
The inside of the wheel is usually only rinsed with water to remove dirt - the clay won't come off when you do this. Once its stuck on there, it's there to stay until you pry it off :)

Clay is sloppy. Glue tire. Spin on car fast to expand the foam .as it slows the foam will go to it's happy place. Then balance it. Use tape in center of wheel side to side. Not on face of wheel which puts weight on outside of tire. U want to affect the whole cross section. This was improper and who the hell would want to hold it the entire time
@FarmerFpv2 жыл бұрын
That's not how it's done. The inserts are glued on race wheels. You're tripping dude. You're a certified moron.

Sounds horrible adding weight to a tire. This is a hella useless tool. Never seen any pro use this junk before.
@user-wy3xe2tt3y2 жыл бұрын
Well if you prefer sir, feel free to whip out your pocket knife and carve on your tire until you reach perfect balance. By doing that, you would truly have the “cutting” edge over the competition......👍🤓

You're mental. I'm sure you win races in your dreams. You have no clue what you're talking about. I haven't seen a pro who doesn't balance their tires.

Can’t speak for the tool but the benefits of having a balanced tire is pretty common sense. I’m sure the pros have a team that does this for them before a race day. When you have cars where 1mm adjustments make a diff. Having an unbalanced tire is probably not a good thing. But again not talking about the tool. To me the tool seems like a decent idea. But never used it and don’t plan on buying it
