Thank you so much for you videos. I have one question, I've been reading some reports on mining companies and some cash flows are all negative. I'm guessing because they are in the pre-production phases. What do you do in these particular instances in terms of DCF analysis?

Thanks Owen. Love Xero. I own it and use it each day for work. Great software - loved by the accounting community. BTW they just put their subscriptions up by around 10% globally in mid September, so we should see a nice spike in their revenue and bottom line in the year ahead. Hopefully that will be reflected in the share price also. In the nine or so years that I have been using it heavily I have not had one client cancel their subscription and move to another accounting product, very very sticky.

Good question! Try putting them side by side, or using "Vanguard Fund Compare" (free tool online) to do a comparison. ~ Owen

I'll add these things to the list. In short, with a very high 'uncertainty' discount applied (e.g. a probability of success in years 1 ... n, decreasing as mining milestones are reached). Typically, these valuations can be very binary. But I haven't looked very closely. ~ Owen
