Wow, my husband would buy me Beanie babies almost every week in the 90s , the man at the toy store would even put them aside for him. I walked into a 7/eleven a couple days ago with my roommate. We see a Halloween beanie baby and just had to buy it. I thought what a brilliant idea, it's festive, simple, has a collectable quality to it, and is just pure fun. We bought a couple and after watching this video, it just explained why I was feeling all those emotions when we spotted them at the convenience store. These need to make a comeback, the new market potential with smartphones and in general the way consumer buying has changed, I could see me picking up a couple throughout the year, just to see what that year brought.

I have most of them, including several Princess Diana bears, pvc and perfect tags. All were kept in clear boxes then stored in other boxes. Not played with. My family makes fun of me because I’ve saved them all. My husband thinks I spent $3,000 in total but, I didn’t as many were gifts from friends and family who knew I was collecting them. Thank you so much for taking your time and making this video. Almost a year ago my grandmother past away. She was the most wonderful grandmother anyone could ask for. Well she was always into the beanie babies. And when I was young she would always take me and my sister out and buy 1 when we would come to visit. We'll since she passed away. I've come to a crazy amount of beanie babies. From the princess Diana beanie baby to lefty and righty. Multiple halo bears and hope bears . To the one remember going to buy with her. The Garcia bear. Plus so many more. So many amazing memories, so much love for her grandchildren. Thank you for helping me understand these little guys. Gez, I wish I had realized Beanie Babies would be so popular or truly collectible because after my children grew up I let my granddaughters play with them. None have tags anymore, but my dog still enjoys playing with the Peace Beanie Baby, Jerry Garcia Beanie Baby, the 911 Beanie Baby, L/R Beanie Babies & the original Brown Bear Beanie Baby which lays on its tummy. I had gotten them for the kids because I thought they were cute and they have been in plastic bins which is now where all the other stuffed animals are housed😂
