Does that rear-end really take Motor Oil? Or was that Gear Lube in the container? Thanks, great video!

I was waiting for this question!🤣 We get gear oil in 55 gallon drums and I pump it into a gallon container.

Just did mine on my 96, I had great e-brake before with old shoes and drums. Changed drum and shoes and now nothing! So frustrated. Took it apart numerous times and it seem right to me. Seems to be a common problem.

Did you make sure the self adjusters were operational? Also you need to set the adjuster to where the shoes just touch the drums without brake applied
