In this video I will show you step-by-step how to vinyl wrap your phone using a color changing wrap.
Their is a mic between the camera and flash that I forgot to cut around in the video. If you record audio and it sounds muffled make sure the mic is clear of any vinyl

It helped me man. Thanks. I was struggling around corners because I never understood that all these types of wraps are different. I have the carbon looks but it still acted just like yours. But I watched another video where the man made his own carbon which looked like a sheet of steel. But he was only doing the back of the case of the phone. So me and you basically have the same stuff but different looks in style. So when I came to the corners I never realised that this stuff stretches. So thanks to this video I learned that this stuff can seriously stretch a lot. Thanks man

the raised lettering was just cut out vinyl under the wrap, you would need a vinyl cutting machine like a cricut or silhouette to get a custom one, or order one from a store

Additional tip. Throw a clear case over it afterwards to give your device more protection *AND* still be able to see the cool vinyl wrap.

Why not just vinyl wrap a clear case? Would be easier to cut out all the holes precisely with no wrinkles or misses and it would look like a real pricey case

@@BichaelStevens Because then the vinyl wrap would be taking the brunt of the wear and tear of the daily handling of the device, instead of the case. Maybe I'm just being pessimistic, but I would anticipate peeling about the edges, unless you did it perfectly and you are fairly delicate with your phone (or tablet)

@@BichaelStevens Additionally, this would presumably be ineffective for people who use adhesive grips/handles on their devices (e.g. Popsocket) because in this case you're sticking on a load bearing thing onto what is essentially a fancy sticker, so the grip would only be held on as strong as the vinyl wrap is. Might be sufficient, but then again, it might not be. What I do know for sure is that Popsocket grips adhere extremely well to clear polycarbonate surfaces, and you end up with a very reliable, sturdy bond.

The glass back will remain scratchless as it has hardness of 6-7 , but the metal surrounding sure had scratches when he cut away vinyl with that exacto.

You should not pull corners so hard, because you are creating intwrnal tention in material, it will result in your vynil peeling off prematurely.
