Hello LRV Gang! Some friends recently led us on to visiting Disney World and referred to it as "Disney Free", which we had no idea you could do this, especially free. We then found out that there are thousands of people that already knew about this and do it often. Many make it a yearly tradition and others do it often to enjoy the resorts and eat at some of the resorts, Disney Springs or the Boardwalk. There is a lot of free entertainment as well at Disney Springs, which we have enjoyed for quite some time. Disney allows this all because they know people will still spend money at the resorts or shopping areas. However, there are still quite a few people that did not know about this, so we made this video to give families and those that can not afford the very expensive tickets to the theme parks, a way to still be able to enjoy Disney World instead of nothing at all. What a blessing to those people/families. I know if I had kids and could not afford the theme park tickets, my kids would be grateful to at least do this than nothing at all. In fact, the Animal Kingdom Lodge is an African themed resort built on a 33-acre wildlife preserve with three savannas, and over 30 species of wildlife. That is also free to see and how fun that would be alone. We wanted to pin this comment for this video and our Part 2 video due to a very small percent of people that started coming in for 6 hours straight JUST TODAY that seems to be fake accounts, trying to create drama. They are twisting our title of this video and thinking it is referring directly towards the Theme Parks, which it is not. Allow us to explain fully... Walt Disney World: The resort comprises 31 themed resort hotels, nine non-Disney hotels, several golf courses, a camping resort, and other entertainment venues, including the outdoor shopping center Disney Springs. It also contains four theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom), two water parks (Disney's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon). We explain in the video that you can not get in the theme parks for free. Most of us know you're not going to get into theme parks free. lol So as you can see, "Disney World" is not JUST the theme parks and has a ton of other properties. Some people think "Disney World" means "The Magic Kingdom" and others realize it defines the entire place and realize that obviously Disney is not going to allow anyone into their "theme parks" for free. Truth is, if we named the video..."How To Visit Disney World PROPERTIES For Free". We would have gotten the exact same response from those exact same people, because the Theme Parks are considered properties also. What we are showing that you can see for free is more than just the resorts, so in order to elaborate further, it would entail a much longer sentence which is not allowed. We would of had to write out a long sentence in our title to explain the video in more detail which we could not find a proper way...AND, we have to try to come up with something before it goes live. When you change a title later, then ALL of the translations in other languages for the title would have to be manually changed also. When we create these videos, we have very limited time to finish them and move on to the next project. We also use a title and keyword software and are only allowed so many characters or the search results and score will lack heavily and the KZbin algorithm will limit the number of people they put the video in front of in their search. We would like to thank those of you that understand and always appreciate the video(s) we do for you all and we hope our videos will always either help you in some way or at least bring you joy and get a good healthy laugh once in a while. We never ever intend to mislead anyone and will always be straight forward with you and not "sugar coat" anything. Bless you all and stay healthy. 🧡😊🤓

I live 1.5 hours south of DW. I’m able to camp 2 or 3 times a year in Fort Wilderness. As a native Floridian for 60 years, I’ve been to the theme parks many times so when I’m camping in Ft. W., that’s my vacation. I don’t go into the theme parks I just stay in the Fort and use the transportation you did to visit all the different resorts. My Lectric eBike is perfect for the Fort. The movies that show nightly at the campfire & the atmosphere of that amazing campground is all I need. If you have never camped there I HIGHLY recommend it!!! Yes, it’s expensive but it really is worth every penny!

Oh... and that guitar player at the end! TO DIE FOR!!! Be seeing you!

Nice! We go here a lot! Next trip Feb 5th. We usually dedicate at least a day (if not two) to doing this. We've got annual passes so we can park at any of the parks for free (relatively speaking). You can also book a dining reservation at any of the resorts and then tell the guards at the gate you have a reservation and they let you park at the resort. We are DVC members and have been doing this all for many years now... You don't have to go to the parks if you don't want to.

I think you were right in your comments Brian... not many people will know to do this and it's a great way to see parts of the Disney properties that you wouldn't normally visit unless you were staying there. The recipe for Pineapple Whip is, combine one "big" scoop of vanilla ice cream with four ounces of pineapple juice and two cups of frozen pineapple chunks in a blender. Downtown Disney was my Son’s favorite freebie! He loved the Lego Store. Last time I was there was the day after 9/11, and we stayed a week in Old Key West. Hardly anyone there, everyone was afraid they would blow up Disney. Rode the Rocking Roller Coaster, and blacked out going upside down! Really loved the Tower Of Terror! Happy New Year!

My family and I used to do this! We fell in love with Disney in 2008, but unfortunately, I was laid off in 2009. To help keep my spirits up while slogging through want ads, interviews, and such, we would often go down for a day and "wander" the way you do in this video. We'd even pick up lunch from Subway or a local grocery store, and have a picnic at one of the many beautiful resorts that have a beach (back before the alligator attack).

Another question for you…did you have to make dining reservations? Were there certain restaurants that you couldn’t get into without a reservation? We’re going in Nov 22 and look forward to following in your path. Any references you looked at to plan your “approach path”?
@LivinRVision2 жыл бұрын
We didn’t end up eating at the resorts other than the lunch at the Wilderness Lodge which was a fast food place. Some places you do need reservations but all the resorts seemed to have places to eat that you don’t need reservations also. Day 1 we just followed the advice from our friends that had did it many times before. Day 2, we just started off at Disney Springs again which will take you to any of the resorts or parks and then went from there to the remainder of the places for the day. It’s pretty simple and if you need to k ow the best route to get to a certain place to start, just ask a worker/bus driver/security. They are a big help. You can also pull up your map of Disney and look at a certain path you want to take and start from there.

My gosh did you two walk a lot! I was exhausted just watching your video. We have been to WDW hundreds of times since 1975 and still enjoy visiting it when we can. Our Christmas tradition every year to get us in the mood is to ride the monorail to all the resorts to see how they are decorated and to finish by walking around Disney Springs. As you found it is impossible to see it all in two days. We still find places that we missed over the years. We used to camp in Fort Wilderness but they are out of our budget range anymore. Besides it is a total waste of money since 80% of it is closed up due to covid but they are still charging full price. We stay at Tropical Palms in Kissimmee and use our PA. We wish we could have hooked up and taken you two all the high points and shared secrets we have learned over the years to save money and still have a good time. We are looking forward to meeting you two at the Tampa show. Just remember my name Attila like Attila the Hun.

We stayed at the Thousand Trails Orlando RV Resort and made our reservations in advance like we always do…the 120 days in advance. 👍🏻😊🤓

Great Information!! Great Information!! I would guess everything is ADA Compliant? Are the boats, buses and Skyline scooter/wheelchair accessible?

Happy New Year. My elementary school chess team participated in the National Chess Tournament at Coronado Spring Resort many times. Our fun day started at the Animal Kingdom lodge. They have a free zoo with several animals and games for kids and fast food as well. Next the Art of Animation for Little Mermaid , Nemo, Lion King, and Cars. Each area has activities and displays for kids and Car's area has all the vehicles and buildings plus reasonably priced whole family pizzas. We ended at the Floridian for the Gingerbread House and Fireworks show from the patio. Fun transportation in between, this is a full day. Pack food and it's all free!!! This is Jim's wife, white hat lady.

Also..after we spent about 600$on Disney tickets, I found out you can get discount tickets at the little ticket booths around Orlando for around 60$ a park..we were staying at thousand trails Orlando..next time..we're going to this and that..😆 lol

There are many strings attached to getting those tickets. Normally it involves staying at a timeshare and doing presentations.

I have here in Orange County since 2000. My family calls this type of Disney touring “lobby hopping”

But you aren’t really going to Disney World free, just doing the resort’s
@LivinRVision2 жыл бұрын
Disney World is the entire area…The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, etc… everything is within Disney World and this is a way to see a lot of the areas OTHER THAN THE PARKS. It’s a lot of fun and we just wanted to share this for those that didn’t know about it or can not afford to go to any of the parks. 👍🏻😊🤓

Disney World is huge. There is Disney Springs that includes the restaurants, retail, and small stage shows.There is also the boardwalk and all the resorts too as well as the transportation, monorails, boats, ferries, busses etc. Even if you came here and spent several days in the parks, most of the travel sites highly suggest that you take a day off of the parks and explore Disney outside of the parks. We are annual pass holders, have been in the parks many many times and still sometimes still do exactly what they did as a day in Disney without going in the parks. It is just a normal thing or us and it can be great fun.

My last Disney trip was in 1995 Senior class trip Magic Kingdom that was so fun at night we had some good times back when it was cheap haven’t been there in so long right now everything so expensive due to Covid 😷

We stay at Fort Wilderness but typically don't do the parks. Plenty to do and enjoy without the parks. The Fort is getting crazy expensive but we're also starting to see stupid high prices for campgrounds everywhere. Wondering what campground y'all are at but may have missed from previous video.

Oh! So I dont have to be booked in the animal Kingston hotel to visit and eat there. I stayed last time in the music resort and really really wanted to see the african hotel, but thought it was not possible. Thanks for the tip, I will try it next time.
