Well I thought it was getting better, which is why we went ahead and left, but it got worse and not sure if it was the cookie or what but I was nauseous. We were already out and it kept going in waves. I used to get them all the time, then Brian led me on to the gum I was chewing that had aspartame in it. We camped here many years ago when our kids were little. Love it. Have you been to Highland Hammocks State Park near Sebring? It used to be our favorite park when we lived in Florida.

Yeah, Wekiwa Springs State Park is a terrific spot. If you rent a kayak or paddle board and go east from the springs, you'll eventually end up at a really nice area that has a bar and food. My brother lives about a block or two from this place. Anytime we are down there to visit, we always go there to hang out. Book months in advance for the campground though. Real popular place.

We live close to Wekiva Springs and go there a lot. I got a good chuckle at “hot springs”. They are all from the aquifer and are a constant 72 degrees, which I guess would feel warm if it was in the 40’s. During the FL summers the 72 degree water is a great way to cool off. Thank you for highlighted some parts of Central FL beyond the theme parks.

We just left there March 1st on our way to Bradenton Florida. Biked all around and walked around the springs area. Very nice State Park. Price is right at $27/night FHU. Sorry we missed you guys. We had stayed at Stephen Foster State Park the night before near Lake City. That's another very nice Florida state park.

It really is a nice State Park. The camping fee is $24 plus $7 ($31 total) nightly for an RV with FHU. The State Parks do it kinda weird like this that confuses some. Still a great deal! Thanks for the tip on the Stephen Forest State Park! 👍🏻😃🤓

Been camping at Wekiwa back in early 70’s . That was the days we used to be able to take the kids camping without reservations. It is discouraging to Us Fl residents for 60 years our state parks are no longer in reach to us anymore! Oh well, no longer 3 million residents in the state.☹️

It kind of fluctuates. There’s been weeks that it hasn’t been high and nice average temps. The humidity has been a little higher the last 2 weeks along with the temps. I think it’s supposed to cool down next week. You’d probably be ok if you only stay in to March. Past that it starts to stay hot.

We have s farmers market here in Maxwell, IA every Sunday during the warmer months. My backyard is also the Chichaqua bottoms which has a campground similar to the one you showed today. Obviously not Florida but still things to do including kayaking. You'll have to check it out. You should really check out YeeHaw Bob while your in Orlando. He's a free piano music guy that is at Riverside resort on Disney property. He plays great songs and gets the crowd involved. It's a blast and free. Food and drinks too.

@@LivinRVision I guess I did miss it. I am betting that you will end up with a Class B+ probably with a diesel, or maybe a small class C. Anything with the Mercedes cab is ridiculously expensive. I know you need two table spaces for work and you are sizing down so those are my guesses. If I was to get back into RVing, I would probably get the Winnebago 24 ft. Class C with the rear bedroom slide. I like that floor plan and the Ford engines. Looking forward to seeing your new rig.

I went to Disney Spring's Gideon's on the Sunday before President's day, and we put our name in about 1:30, we met some friends to eat at 2:30 and before we were finished eating, we got a return text. They said it would be just short of a 4 hour wait, but it was more like less than a 2 1/2 hour wait. I got the eternal flame cake (to celebrate my birthday that was earlier in the month), a pistachio and a cookies and cream cookie. Still have some of the cookies. They are so good. Cake was delicious! It did have a little kick.

We just did the same thing last Friday (Which was a week after filming this) and was shocked that we only had an hour wait. We got there about 5:30 so that really helped before the crowds. Michelle got the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream and the only thing there gluten free for me was the iced peanut butter coffee, which at first did not sound good but to our surprise was very good. Definitely not healthy though 😂 very sweet.

We read that it is highly unusual for an alligator to venture into the swimming area during the day while people are in the water. With all the people that frequent the spring, we’re thinking it must keep the gators away or possibly they come in during the night since they are nocturnal and move out before the people arrive to swim. Complete speculation though. If anyone knows for sure, we’d love to know.

We have been waiting for our next big thing - 3/11 is Dave's last day on the job. 3/12 is my first day of retirement and it also is the 40th anniversary of the commissioning of my ship, USS Carl Vinson, CVN-70. Been watching you for a couple years as part of our research for what to do when we retire. Now that we are almost retired, we will still need to wait for the world to return to "normal" before we make a big change in our lives. More waiting, but good things come to those who wait. I’m guessing you are getting the Winnebago Ekko. Clearly it’s not a travel trailer or you wouldn’t be selling the truck. If it was a 5th wheel you’d be stressing about finding a dually which are currently over priced and hard to find. And if it was a class A or super C you would be stressing about getting the right tow vehicle. 🤷‍♂️
