How to visit the Ruins & town or Pompeii from Napels in Italy by train (main line train & EAV train)

The train is by far the best, most relaxed and probably also the most affordable way to visit the ruins of Pompeii from the city of Napels in Italy, from where on you have a great connection on domestic long distance trains. In this video I'll take the main line trains of Trenitalia on one way and the other way I'll take the EAV / Circumvesuviana what is a much more obvious train to take to visit the ruins of Pompeii.

Can i ask, do you need to validate your tickets on the metro or circumvesuviana trains? Also, these can only be bought in person from a physical person and not a booth, is that correct?

Can you tell if the Pompeii railway station has luggage storage? We will be having a Check in baggage and 2 cabin bags.

I mention something in the video about it, the mainline station has something like that and the narrow gauge doesn't. However this was at the moment of recording in 2022.
