You can insert gems directly with the addon included in Blender, "Add Mesh Extra Objects"

You forgot to plug Value to subtract and add nodes. Here you got improper RGB IORs for diamond, 1.9, 2.4, 2.9. But when you plug you get 2.373, 2.418, 2.427
