The AMG grill has massive holes, I recommend using some mesh behind the grill to ensure your radiator doesn’t get hit by a rock or all kinds of dirty just entering in there. Currently in the process of doing this myself.

Would you recommend any specific mesh? What would you recommend exactly to put behind because I’m going in soon to have mine replaced with this grill and don’t want this issue either. Thanks!

@ I just ordered some car grill mesh from Amazon, took it to my local customisation garage and they fitted it neatly behind it. I had the grill fitted prior to the mesh fitting, so it cost me double the labour lol. Now that you know it may save you the trouble? You can even neatly fit the mesh yourself behind the grill with some hot glue and then have a shop fit it.

Noticed you didn't take the engine covers from underneath. Most videos show this as part of the process? Alot easier if you don't have to!

Depending on the options, there could be parking sensors, a distronic module and front-facing camera. On my 2022 C-class, they are all attached with on coupler on the passenger side. (in U.S. cars) When I replaced my front bumper cover, I just used ties to attach them to the collision bar so they weren't getting in the way.
