Great video, I surfed for the first time this weekend and we had no idea what were doing. We were able to stand up and move around on the wave just not let go of the rope and I believe it was due to our posture. Definitely gonna try the hand on the back and stand straight next time

I tried this for the first time yesterday and I was able to surf for about 3 minutes with minimal tension on the rope. But I was struggling to steer the board. The tip to put pressure on your front foot and back foot would have been useful! I'm excited to try again!

Yeah this helps cuz I’ve wake surfed only one time it took me three try’s to stand up on the board and then it took two more try’s before I actually rode with out falling off but it lasted all of 45 sec becuase I tried to get into the wake a little more and I just fell off every time so seeing how he pumps in and out and seeing how he distributed his weight and foot work so hopefully next time I go to wake surf I can apply some of this and learn to actually surf the wake and control speed and let go of the rope and stuff cux soeed was another thing I’d try and slow down and I would just get pushed to the back of the wake and slowly sink

Just let go of the rope and the wave should naturally wants it doesn’t have forward momentum sink the board and then you can swim to the boat

Probably the worst way to start. Been wake surfing for 10+ years and it's easier to put it in gear in have your knees on the board and move to your feet.
