I walk my cat Anna. I started out with a Dog Harness, fit so much better. That was 2 years ago, now we use a cat harness. Anna sits by the door to let momma know it's time to go out. I also use a Retractable Dog Leash which works so much better than a Short Cat Leash. Anna is 16 years young, Hyperthyroidism and Chronic Kidney Disease. Anna is my Life, My World. We Love Our Walks.

Walking a cat can be so beneficial to the overall health and happiness of a cat. While we do recommend a short cat leash to prevent injuries should the cord wrap around a pet leg or human finger, we are so very happy to hear about Anna and the joy you experience on your walks together.

@@Sleepypod Thank you for your reply. As for a Leash, I have found using a Retractable Dog Leash Works Best for Anna, it can be Locked to Shorten and I can give Anna a Bit more Freedom. If she is in any Danger, can Prevent Anna from Going Any Further by Locking the Leash. A Cat Leash was just too Restricted/Short. We have been walking 4 years now.

Harness looks far too tight for the cat, I worry about getting a harness for that exact reason, it is hard with long haired cats, and it just sucks they can’t talk to let u know how it fits.
