Hi there. I've just watched this short tutorial about 60 times ( yes, 60 - ask my partner), and it's actually not that instructive. I have this loom sitting on my table right now, and I'm about ready to pour gas on it and set it ablaze. Is there any other tutorial out there that can address someone like me who has absolutely no experience with weaving?

Why make a video like this and leave so much information out? The warping sequence is not fully filmed or explained. Then when it comes time to weave, it does not show how to START. How do I adjust tension? How do I get an even spread of my warp? Why are these things important? Frustrating.

These instructions and diagrams detail using the thumbscrews to adjust the tension bar and using a heavy yarn to make a twined edge across the bottom of the warp for even spacing.

Nice video, but can you show how to advance the warp? I have read the manual, but can't see how it works when one end of the warp is tied to the warp bar.

what happens once your weave reaches the heddles. Do you just have to stop using them, or can you shift the weave down somehow?

+Mallory Evelyn Once you reach the heddles, release the tension and move the warp yarn around the loom pull the unused lengths down into place. Then reapply the tension and start weaving. What is the spacing measures between the threads or yarn warps

Sharon Railsback The spacing you’ll want to use will depend on the yarn you’re using. To get a basic idea, you can take your warp and wrap it around a ruler with the warp wraps touching, and then count how many threads take up 1 centimeter. Then use that number to determine how many warps threads per inch you will put on the loom. Keep in mind that if you’re using a really chunky weft, you many need fewer warp threads, or with a fine weft you may need more. So how do you rotate a long weaving project on the loom

Ben Dillon First, loosen the thumbscrews on the tension bar counter-clockwise, and shift the tension bar down a bit. Then, from the back, pull the warp bar up to re-position your project.
