Great tutorial. Never thought to roll it in a towel. I usually just squeeze it gently and then lay my silk shirts or dresses a clean towel over the clothes horse to prevent the fabric from becoming strained from the weight

Why can’t you just put it in the washer with cold water?

Does anyone have advice on how to treat grimey collars prior to washing? For silk, and other microfibers?

Maybe just try giving it some extra attention during the washing process. Or try soaking it for longer.
