Thank you. I love these tips. I keep full strength in the soap pump attachment on my sink. I learned from watching that I may be using too much at once.

Hi Sandy- I recommend diluting the soap when used in a built-in soap dispenser. Start with a half-and-half dilution and if that still seems too strong, dilute further. Keep in mind that our soaps can clog and squirt out in unexpected directions in a non-foaming soap dispenser. Take care to clean it out from time to time so avoid that. Let me know how it goes!

YES! This is what I needed. Thank you so much for sharing, short, sweet and to the point. I recently switched to Sal Suds and Castel Soap for everything else but was unsure about dishes, although I do cheat and use my foaming hand soap for a single dish😆. Love you videos, you're such a natural too! Looking forward to your next one.🥰😘👍

Thanks! I never knew I could use the soap in a foaming bottle.... for decades I've always had it in a spray bottle. My new thing I do with the spray is spray on the wet tiles after a shower and it seems to keep the grout from getting dirty or if I forget and the grout looks dingy I spray it on and the next day it appears the dirt is disolved.

I can't bring myself to use the bar of Sandalwood Jasmine I picked up at TJMaxx because this scent is not sold in the US! Please make this scent available in the USA.... and also the Earl Grey, please.

Hi Trent- TJ Maxx is a great place to find the Sandalwood Jasmine. We had this on our webstore last month for limited time here in the U.S. To find out when our seasonal scents are available on our webstore next, sign up for my newsletter at LisaBronner.com and/or follow my Facebook page at facebook.com/GreenWithLisaBronner.

I live in the country and have hard water, but recently had a water softener installed. Should I use Castile or Sal suds? I’m brand new at going green. Living with Asthma and allergies, I’ve realized I need to stop using cleaning products full of chemicals. I bought your book and received it today. I can’t wait to start reading it.

Thanks so much for purchasing Soap & Soul! I hope you find it helpful. With a house water softener, you can likely use either one for general cleaning. For laundry, I do prefer Sal Suds because it is slightly better on whitening whites and is more cost effective than Castile Soap. A simple way to get an idea of how your water will react with Castile Soap is to fill a glass with a cup or two of water and add a small squirt of Castile Soap. If it turns white, your water is hard. If it stays clear, it's soft. Here's the link to my KZbin video with more of a how-to: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mn6ul4GniK6XpZI

What’s the difference between Sal Suds and Castil soap? Which one should we use for fruits and which for cleaning and why? Thanks
@GoingGreenwithLisaBronnerАй бұрын
Hi there- Castile Soap is primarily designed for the body. The blend of oils (coconut, olive, palm, jojoba, and hemp seed) are designed to be the most nourishing to our skin. But because it is such a beautifully simple soap, it also cleans many other things amazingly well, whether it’s your dog, your sinks, or your floors. Sal Suds is our household cleaner developed by my dad, Jim Bronner (Dr. Bronner's youngest child). It is even tougher on stains and grime, and rinses cleanly and leave surfaces sparkling. Find my "Which to Use?" article that covers this topic more thoroughly, including when you want to use one over the other, on my Going Green with Lisa Bronner website at bit.ly/SalSudsOrCastile

Hello. Just want to ask of how to dilute Dr bronners liguid soap. For body wash. How many ML of water versus how many ML of Dr bronners liguid soap? Thank you
@GoingGreenwithLisaBronnerАй бұрын
Hi Paolo- The water from the shower on our skin does the diluting for us. Apply a very small squirt of Castile Soap onto a wet cloth or your wet and scrub away. Now, while I don’t pre-dilute the soap, I know that some people do prefer this for any number of reasons. For a body soap, dilute the soap at 1 part soap to 6 parts water in a bottle. Another option is using a foaming pump diluted at 1 part soap to 3 parts water. In either case, I recommend a plastic bottle over glass in the shower and around the tub.

Hi Lisa, Is there any way we can buy Sal-Suds in the UK? We have been using Dr Bronners Castile for over a decade and it has become more and more widely available. However we cannot get the Sal-Suds. Amazon have 473mls smaller bottle but it is retaling for $45.03 the is nowhere else at all.
@GoingGreenwithLisaBronnerАй бұрын
Hi Ally- Unfortunately, due to regulatory requirements, we are not actively selling Sal Suds in the UK. At the moment we do not have a timeline for when we will be reintroducing Sal Suds to the market. I’m sorry for any inconvenience. In the meantime, our Castile Liquid Soap can be used for household cleaning purposes. Check out my dilutions Cheat Sheet for dilutions and recipes: bit.ly/CastileSoapDilutionCheatSheet

I use your "single item foaming soap" idea for washing my cat's food dishes with the baby unscented castille soap because cats hate smells. It's a good way to be kind to your cat. I think my cat is happier not having to smell dish soap on her dishes.

Yes, that's a great way to clean your cat's dishes!

That's a big, NO-NO. Using a dish towel to dry dishes, etc., will help spread germs. Air dry is preferred.

I always use SAL SUDS for household cleaning & laundry. The CASTILE soaps [I have tea tree, eucalyptus and peppermint] are kept for personal care as I remember you once saying the Sal Suds was slightly drying to skin. So far this has worked out terrifically for me. PS - peppermint is great on a hot day - so cooling]. 🧼🧼🧼
