Using regular sea salt did not work for me! The Himalayan pink salt I used in the video worked beautifully, and made the soap nice and thick.

From Australia here. What exactly is Sal suds?
@TheFarmhouseMom2 ай бұрын
It is a Dr. Bronner’s product used as a soap base…they are a soap/personal care company! Most of their products are plant based and biodegradable. You can use Sal Suds as a base to create lots of different cleaning uses…laundry, dishes, floor cleaner. Sal suds is concentrated and meant to be mixed with whatever cleaning recipe you like. It also rinses clean in hard water, which is what we deal with on the farm. We have a high level of minerals that makes it hard for the dishes to dry without streaks/mineral deposits.

Why did nine curdle and create a weird smell?

I’m not sure, did you use the same ingredients I used?
@emilydau365617 күн бұрын
@@TheFarmhouseMom I used extra strong cleaning vinegar and regular dr.bronners unscented. I think the vinegar I used is what did it. I made a second batch and it turned out perfect :)

@@emilydau3656 oh good! Yes, I do think the cleaning vinegar has additional ingredients in it.

Can this go in the dishwasher ?

It is a pretty low-sudsing soap, so I think it could be used in the dishwasher. I think the main thing you have to worry about is too many suds! I might add some washing soda to it. Martha Stewart has a good recipe for dishwasher soap on her website!
