This looks good on you. What I recently tried on myself with my sew in was wash and blow it out with the Revlon one step hair dryer and volumizer blow dryer brush. I loved my results.. looked like I got a real Dominican blow out.

I've never had a weave before and seeing your videos make me feel like I can do it all, lol. I plan to have it professionally done for the first time, but after that you will be my inspiration and motivation. I'm not sure how I came across your vid, but I'm thrilled that I did. Thank you.

My stylist washed my sew in and leave out like real hair. I sat under the dryer to get my braides dry. She would wash and condition my weave each time we did a take down for my treatment and deep condition.

Love that! If I had a sit under dryer, I would definitely do that too. I typically don’t leave my sew ins in for longer than a month so this method works for me. Maybe this method will work for you if you needa quick refresh in between going to the stylist. Thank you so much for watching!

So funny! Hahaha Hahaha... It is so true about older black people and their comments! "ALL THAT HAIR" 🤣 I love that bundle of hair that you use. . It's good that you take care of it and are able to reuse it.

This is an amazing video! I loved it but don’t you suppose to get your braids wet due to you making sure your scalp is clean underneath the sew in? When I go to the salon my stylist really get under my braids very well to get all the buildup off my scalp
@ChakaStarkes
@ChakaStarkes 2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! You definitely can but I would recommend sitting under a hooded dryer if you do to ensure your braids get dry underneath. I personally prefer not to get my braids wet bc I don’t my sew in and braids to get loose. I do my hair pretty often so I don’t have a lot of build up. Definitely do whatever works best for you!☺️

@ChakaStarkes

Thank you! It just depends… 1-2 months because I do it myself. When I was going to the salon I would keep it in a little longer. I save so much money doing it myself. It’s time consuming but worth it.
